Two new associates join Stewart McKelvey

Stewart McKelvey announced that former articled clerks Brandon Gillespie and Anthony Granville are beginning their careers at the St. John’s firm as associates.

According to the firm’s press release, with a primary focus on litigation, Gillespie assists health care insurers, commercial insurers, large and small businesses and municipalities. He has also been involved in a number of privacy and access files.

In addition to his practice, Gillespie is passionate about his involvement with the Canadian Cadet Movement and Canadian Armed Forces.

Granville supports employers by advising on all labour and employment matters that arise in the workplace. His industry experience gives him an in-depth understanding of industrial relations issues and the challenges that employers face as they seek to achieve and maintain co-operative relationships with the workforce.

He primarily practises in the areas of human rights, employment law, collective agreement administration and grievance arbitration. He also practises civil litigation, particularly in the areas of municipal law, commercial disputes and insurance.
