Pallett Valo adds lawyer to commercial litigation, construction practice groups

Pallett Valo LLP announced on April 8 that Daniel Waldman has joined the Mississauga, Ont., firm as a lawyer. Waldman is a member of both the commercial litigation and construction practice groups.

According to the firm’s press release, Waldman handles a wide range of complex litigation matters including real property litigation, commercial leasing, commercial real estate, construction law, debt collection and securities litigation.

His primary area of focus is real property disputes involving the purchase and sale of large commercial property and commercial lease disputes. Waldman represents a range of clients including the largest commercial landlords in Canada, international developers, multimillion dollar real estate investment trusts and construction companies.

He appears regularly before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, Federal Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Waldman also appears before a number of administrative tribunals, including the Ontario Securities Commission, the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, the Real Estate Council of Ontario, and the Landlord and Tenant Board.
