New Toronto financial services associate for Minden Gross

Minden Gross LLP announced that Arash Jazayeri has joined the firm as an associate in the financial services group.

According to Minden Gross’ press release, Jazayeri provides opinions on complex insolvency matters and negotiates settlements when a client is either insolvent or is approaching insolvency. He has worked with stakeholders affected by or involved in formal and informal insolvency proceedings and financial restructuring, including lenders, debtors, suppliers and other trade creditors, trustees in bankruptcy, and private and court-appointed receivers, monitors and other court-appointed officers.

Jazayeri regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice for commercial, bankruptcy and insolvency matters and has significant appellate level experience.

He graduated from the University of Victoria in 2008 with a bachelor of engineering and in 2012 he earned an MBA at York University. He received his juris doctor from York in 2012 and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2014.
