Howie, Sacks & Henry adds associate

Howie, Sacks & Henry announced that Victoria Yang has joined the Toronto firm as an associate with its mass torts team.

According to the firm’s press release, Yang, a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, is a passionate advocate for vulnerable individuals and has represented clients in small claims court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court of Appeal and various administrative tribunals.

Yang worked as a faculty research assistant at law school and as a caseworker at two Toronto community legal clinics, Downtown Legal Services and Advocates for Injured Workers. She was actively involved in the law school community, serving as an executive of the Asian Law Society.

Yang earned a BA in sociology and psychology from McGill University in 2013 and her juris doctor in 2016 from the University of Toronto. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2017.
