New managing partner for McInnes Cooper

McInnes Cooper announced the appointment of Kevin Kiley as managing partner.

“As managing partner, Kevin will provide overall leadership to our six offices across Atlantic Canada,” said Greg Connors, acting chair of the board. “This appointment is a testament to Kevin’s exceptional leadership, strategic acumen and professional accomplishments.  We are proud and excited to have Kevin in the role.”

According to the firm’s press release, prior to this appointment, Kiley served as chair of McInnes Cooper’s board of directors, was a member of the board from 2013 to 2018 and held the role of regional lead partner of the Charlottetown office from 2006 to 2011. Kiley has also served in executive positions with the Canadian Bar Association at provincial and national levels and been active with non-profit and community based organizations.

In addition to serving in the new role, Kiley will continue to maintain a commercial litigation practice in Atlantic Canada with a focus on obtaining results for clients in the region and beyond.
