Vancouver firm opens Toronto office

Vancouver law firm Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang LLP announced its expansion to Toronto and the opening of its new office on Aug. 10 in the TD Canada Trust Tower of Brookfield Place on Bay Street.
According to the firm’s press release, new partner Heather Devine, one of Canada’s leading transportation lawyers, will head up the Toronto office. Her international practice focuses on the cross-border transportation industry and includes commercial litigation, insurance defence, regulatory compliance, intellectual property (IP) monetization, business disputes, aviation and maritime law.
“This is a significant milestone for Alexander Holburn,” said Christopher Hirst, managing partner. “Our office in Toronto will be instrumental in providing more efficient local support for our Ontario clients, increase our cross-Canada reach and ensure we continue to meet our clients’ priorities.”
