The Woman’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) has welcomed several new people since the arrival in June of the new executive director and general counsel Megan Stephens, who replaced Shaun O’Brien.

Recent arrivals include board chair Gillian Hnatiw; board members Hadiya Roderique and Shabnum Durrani; staff lawyer Rosel Kim; and project director of the Feminist Strategic Litigation Project, Kat Owens.

LEAF is a national, charitable, nonprofit organization, founded in 1985. LEAF works to advance the substantive equality rights of women and girls in Canada through litigation, law reform and public education using the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
