Five new faces join Lavery Lawyers team

Lavery Lawyers announced that the following five professionals have joined the firm’s Montreal office: Vicky Trépanier, Pierre-André Hamel, Anne-Julie Loiselle, Wiam Mahroug and Marie-Josée Desjardins.

According to the firm’s press release, Trépanier joins as a senior counsel and advises medium and large private companies as well as entrepreneurs on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, financing and governance issues.

Trépanier began her practice in business law with a major law firm, mainly in M&A and financing. She later practised business law as a senior executive for more than 12 years.

Hamel joins the firm as a lawyer and focuses his practice in commercial transaction law, mainly in bank financing and real estate.

Loiselle joins the firm as a lawyer and works primarily in the areas of transactional law, M&A and corporate law.

Mahroug joins the firm as a lawyer and focuses on securities and M&A.

Desjardins joins the firm as a notary and focuses her practice on real estate law.
