McInnes Cooper announced that Halifax partner Malcolm Boyle has been inducted into the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

According to the firm’s press release, Boyle was admitted to the American college at its 24th installation of fellows on Nov. 9 in New Orleans.

Boyle represents local, national and international employers throughout Canada in all sectors and industries.

The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers was founded in 1995 on the 60th anniversary of the National Labor Relations Board and the 30th anniversary of Title VII (Civil Rights Act of 1964). The college began as a nonprofit professional association honouring the leading lawyers in the practice of labour and employment law. It has now evolved to become an intellectual and practical resource for the support of the profession and their many audiences.
