Two new partners join Blakes

Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) announced that two new partners have joined the firm.

In the Toronto office, Robert Percival has joined the technology group.

According to the firm’s press release, Percival works with clients across a broad range of industries. His practice focuses on technology-sector transactions including: outsourcing, cloud computing, Software as a Service, strategic alliances, technology acquisition and transfer, licensing, distribution, open source software, privacy and data protection, e-commerce and the Internet.

In the Montreal office, Pascal de Guise has joined the capital markets and corporate and commercial groups.

Specializing in business law, de Guise’s practice focuses on capital markets, venture capital, growth equity and private equity on matters ranging from private placements, fund formation, public offerings and going-private transactions to plans of arrangement, takeover bids, private M&A transactions, governance and compliance.
