'Danger" seen looming for drug treatment courts

Canada’s drug treatment courts are in danger of collapse without an influx of new money, according to the lawyers, judges and addiction treatment professionals who oversee the system.

And while there is optimism that the pleas for cash might fall on the ears of a sympathetic federal government with a potential new revenue source in the form of legalized marijuana, time is of the essence.
