Ryerson names faculty members for new law school

Set to open its doors September 2020, Ryerson’s Faculty of Law announced that faculty members from the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) and the Faculty of Arts have been cross-appointed to the law school. 

According to Ryerson’s press release, the following professors have been cross-appointed to the law school:

  • Pnina Alon-Shenker, Department of Law & Business, TRSM
  • Timothy J. Bartkiw, Department of Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour, TRSM
  • Graham Hudson, Department of Criminology, Faculty of Arts
  • Gil Lan, Department of Law & Business, TRSM
  • Kernaghan Webb, Department of Law & Business, TRSM
  • Alex Wellington, Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts

In addition, the university announced that three cross-appointees will join the Faculty of Law in the new year:
  • Asher Alkoby, professor, Department of Law & Business, TRSM (starts July 1, 2020)
  • Alexandra Orlova, professor, Department of Criminology, Faculty of Arts (starts Sept. 1, 2020)
  • Idil Atak, Department of Criminology, Faculty of Arts (starts Sept. 1, 2020)
