Four join Langlois partnership

Langlois lawyers announced the appointment of four new partners.

Daniel Baum, Sandra Desjardins and Jessica Syms are part of the civil and commercial litigation team and Vincent Tremblay practises business law.

According to the firm’s press release, Baum acts in a wide array of commercial and public law disputes. He handles matters involving insolvency, commercial fraud, administrative law and regulatory compliance.

Desjardins has experience in civil and commercial litigation and provides support in litigation matters related to directors’ and officers’ liability and shareholders’ remedies.

Syms represents clients from various industry sectors, including health care, as well as financial institutions. She is a certified mediator in civil, commercial and labour law matters, accredited by the Quebec bar. 

Tremblay specializes in finance, security on property, real estate law and construction law. He has expertise in banking litigation and in negotiating various types of commercial contracts and acts in this regard as legal adviser for financial institutions as well as both small- and medium-sized enterprises and large companies.
