Stairway to copyright heaven

Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven,” released in 1971, was the rock anthem for anyone who grew up in the 1970s. In high school gymnasiums across North America, millions of socially awkward teenagers wondered when the DJ would play it during school dances, giving us an excellent excuse to hug that boy or girl you had a crush on.
