David Ullman is a new partner with Blaney McMurtry. Ullman will continue his practice in commercial restructuring and intellectual property law.

Fasken Martineau has hired two new partners. Neil Kravitz has joined the firm’s corporate/commercial group in Montreal. Kravitz is well versed in mergers and acquisitions, securities law and cross-border transactions and formerly taught securities law at McGill University. Jenny Mboutsiadis will work in the Toronto office with the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution group. Mboutsiadis has spent the past 11 years as a tax litigator for the federal Department of Justice.

Senior partner Terence Dobbin is the new managing partner of Norton Rose Fulbright’s Toronto office, succeeding Andrew Fleming. Olga Farman is the new managing partner for the Quebec office, effective Oct. 1. She will succeed Carl Tremblay, who recently stepped down from his position after eight years in the role. Lisa Cabel has joined the firm’s Toronto office as partner in its employment law group. She was previously with Borden Ladner Gervais.

Kelsey Rose, Jackson Doyle and Dionne Liu have joined Harper Grey LLP as associates in Vancouver. Rose joins the commercial litigation, health and insurance law groups, Doyle in the commercial litigation, construction and engineering and health law groups, and Liu in the health and insurance law groups.

Jonathan Born has been hired by Wildeboer Dellelce as an associate. Born’s practice focuses on real estate and corporate commercial law with an emphasis on commercial transactions and property development.
