McInnes Cooper counsel named to N.L. health authority board of trustees

McInnes Cooper announced that counsel John O’Dea has been appointed to the Newfoundland and Labrador Eastern Regional Health Authority Board of Trustees for a three-year term.
According to a press release from the Newfoundland and Labrador firm, O’Dea belongs to a number of professional associations and actively contributes to his community, including as past chair of the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council, The Rooms Foundation and the Murphy Centre.
As counsel in the St. John’s office, O’Dea’s legal practice involves matters for the construction industry, professional and regulatory organizations, municipal government and entertainment industries. In addition, his practice includes corporate and commercial litigation and insurance defence. He is a member of McInnes Cooper’s business dispute resolution, litigation, insurance and construction industry groups.
