Five new associates join Lenczner Slaght litigation lineup

Lenczner Slaght announced that Sean Blakeley, Mari Galloway, Katie Glowach, Devyn Noonan and Brianne Westland have joined the Toronto litigation firm as associates.

“We are thrilled that Sean, Mari, Katie, Devyn and Brianne have joined us in the practice of law. They add to the strength of the firm and are an important part of our team,” managing partner, Tom Curry, said in the firm’s press release. “I am looking forward to seeing them in action.”

Blakeley’s developing practice encompasses a broad range of matters including commercial litigation, public law, employment law and professional liability. He completed his JD at Western Law where he was awarded the Arthur T. Little Scholarship and Gold Medal for completing the program at the top of his class.

Galloway’s growing practice encompasses a broad spectrum of litigation matters including corporate commercial disputes, intellectual property and professional liability matters. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa where she worked as a research assistant for the Centre for Law, Technology and Society, the Refugee Hub and the Environmental Justice project. 

Glowach’s litigation practice spans a broad range of areas including commercial litigation, public law and professional liability matters. She completed her JD at Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law, where she was the recipient of several scholarships and prizes. 

Noonan studied at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. She was deeply involved in the school’s mooting community, graduating with the Stephanie Fleur Couzin Medal for Mooting. 

Westland’s experience includes a wide range of matters in the areas of commercial litigation, professional liability, employment disputes, estates litigation and class actions. She graduated from Osgoode Hall, where she was extensively involved in the clinic programs.
