Crawley MacKewn Brush adds associate

Crawley MacKewn Brush announced that Liz McLellan has joined the Toronto corporate and securities litigation firm as an associate.

According to the firm’s website, McLellan’s practice encompasses a broad range of civil, commercial and securities litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm in 2020, she articled and was a summer student at a leading global law firm. She also completed a secondment at the Ontario Securities Commission’s Enforcement Branch.

McLellan graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, where she was involved in various mooting and research activities. She participated in the 2018 Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot, where she placed in the top two appellant teams and received the second highest individual oralist score. She was a research assistant to professor Richard Moon, focusing on freedom of expression and freedom of religion issues. In her second year of law school, she conducted supervised research under professor Shanthi Senthe, focusing on the application of the Business Judgment Rule in Canada and the United States.
