Paliare Roland adds three new associates

Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein LLP announced that Catherine Fan, Douglas Montgomery and Jesse Wright have joined the firm as associates.

According to the firm’s press release, Fan advises a broad range of clients, including individuals, businesses of varying sizes and trade unions.

She joined Paliare Roland after clerking for the judges of the Court of Appeal for Ontario. She graduated with honours from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where she won prizes for oral advocacy in the Gale Cup moot and academic prizes in areas including labour and employment, civil liberties and constitutional law.

Montgomery’s general civil litigation practice focuses in particular on class action law, employment law and commercial law.

He joined Paliare Roland as an associate in 2020 after clerking for Justice Michael J. Moldaver at the Supreme Court of Canada. Prior to his clerkship, he was a summer student and an articling student at the firm.

Wright joined Paliare Roland after working as both a summer student and an articling student at the firm. As a law student, she worked at both the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic and Queen’s Legal Aid. She received the prize for highest standing in administrative law and was the recipient of the John Deakin Buckley Walton Scholarship in administrative law.
