Firms take P3 expertise to U.S.

A growing number of Canadian law firms are taking the expertise they’ve developed in public-private partnerships over the past decade south of the border.

A significant portion of projects using this funding model are in the transportation sector and include bridges, sectional highways, marine terminals, street lights, toll roads and other public works. While P3s may be in their relative infancy in the U.S., many observers agree the potential is enormous.
