Alexa Translations adds new member to advisory board

Alexa Translations announced the addition of a new member, Norman Steinberg, to its board of advisers.

According to the firm’s press release, the board, established in August 2020, now includes eight advisers. Their combined knowledge, skills and expertise will continue to provide strategic counsel to support Alexa Translations throughout its next phase of growth.

Steinberg is the vice-chair of BFL Canada. In the past, he was chair of Norton Rose Fulbright Canada and its predecessor firm, Ogilvy Renault, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, privatization and corporate governance. He was also global chair of Norton Rose Fulbright. He is also a director of Fiera Capital and Dorel Industries, senior adviser to Persistence Capital Partners, co-chair of Women in Governance, chair of the board of governors of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, chair of the McGill University Health Centre Foundation, member of the board of directors and Organizing Committee of the Australia-Canada Economic Leadership Forum and strategic adviser of Vanadium One Iron Corp.
