It’s impossible to make a good first impression if you haven’t shaved for four days, showered in three or brushed your teeth in two.

Chronic understaffing coupled with overcrowding in Ontario jails is causing all-too-frequent lockdowns and raising serious concerns about the lack of basic human rights for both prisoners and people awaiting trial.
