Last October, the Toronto Star and Jesse Brown released a series of stories about Jian Ghomeshi, publishing accounts from several unnamed women who alleged the CBC Radio personality had physically assaulted them. The stories in the Star eventually led to police opening an investigation into Ghomeshi, who was then charged with several counts of sexual assault and one count of overcoming resistance by choking.
