Langlois promotes five to partner

Langlois Lawyers announced the appointment of five new partners, Félix BernardSimon ChénardCharles LapointeEugénie Lefebvre, and Miriam Robitaille.

Bernard, based in Montreal, practises in the areas of corporate, commercial and securities law. His expertise is primarily transactional and involves complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate reorganizations as well as venture capital and private equity financings.

Chénard practises commercial, corporate and company law in the firm’s Montreal and Rimouski offices. His practice embraces a broad spectrum of commercial operations such as launching businesses, drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts, the purchase and sale of businesses, corporate financing, corporate consolidations and reorganizations, and developing real estate and venture projects.

Lapointe is based at the firm’s Quebec City office. He practises primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, insolvency, banking law, intellectual property law and information technology law.

Lefebvre works in the business law group in Montreal. Her practice mainly focuses on banking law, bankruptcy, insolvency, as well as financial restructuring.

Robitaille is part of the corporate and commercial law team at the Quebec City office, specializing primarily in M&A, corporate reorganizations and in real estate law.
