Clark Wilson LLP welcomed associates Ibrahim Halawi and Nadia Rowe to the Vancouver firm.

According to a press release, Halawi joins the firm’s capital markets, securities and mergers and acquisitions group. He has experience drafting various agreements, including negotiating with opposing counsel to settle terms for a contentious service agreement.

Rowe joins the firm’s higher learning group. Her multidisciplinary practice provides legal advice servicing public bodies, boards and various private organizations across a variety of industry sectors, with a particular focus in the post-secondary and entertainment sectors.

She was previously in-house counsel at one of British Columbia’s largest universities where she worked closely with various groups including management, administration, faculty and staff. Prior to that, Rowe was in private practice as production counsel for a number of producers and studios in the film and television industry, advising on a full range of matters through the development, financing, production and distribution stages.
