Sarginson retires from Bereskin & Parr

Former managing partner Lloyd Sarginson has retired from the intellectual property law firm, Bereskin & Parr LLP effective Jan. 1, 2017.

Lloyd served as managing partner of the Toronto firm for many years. He provided opinion and strategic planning advice on all aspects of intellectual property and has extensive experience in advising clients on the management, protection, licensing and enforcement of trademarks and patents.

After receiving his engineering degree, Sarginson worked for several years in the natural gas industry as an engineer before obtaining his law degree from Osgoode Hall. He is also a past member of the board of directors for the International Trademark Association (INTA). He is also currently a member of INTA’s emerging issues committee (EIC).
