Dutton Brock adds two associates

Dutton Brock LLP announced that associates Samantha Posluns and Allana Narain have joined the Toronto insurance litigation firm.

According to a press release from Dutton Brock, Posluns joined the firm after completing her articles and practising for several years at a well-established plaintiff-side firm in Toronto.

Posluns completed her BA in sociology at McGill University and her MA in sociology and health policy at York University. She obtained her juris doctor from the University of Windsor and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.

Posluns is developing an insurance defence practice in the areas of personal injury, tort, general negligence, product liability and occupier’s liability.

Narain joined Dutton Brock after practising insurance defence law for over four and a half years as in-house counsel with two Canadian insurance companies. Prior to this, she summered and articled at a personal injury firm before her call to the Ontario bar in January 2016.

She studied English literature at the University of Toronto prior to obtaining her LLB from City University of London in the U.K. While at law school, she completed an exchange program in maritime law at Universitat Abat Oliba CEU in Barcelona.
