Harper Grey adds associate counsel, associate to business law group

Harper Grey announced the addition of associate counsel Jeff Sheremeta and associate Jeanne Posey to its business law group.
According to the firm’s press release, Sheremeta will work with the business law group’s securities and mergers and acquisitions team. He brings over 20 years’ experience, most of it as general counsel, to an array of companies, providing strategic advice and legal advice to business owners.
He attended law school at the University of British Columbia. He was called to the B.C. bar in 1998 and was previously senior in-house counsel at Vision Critical, a software company.
Posey has joined the wills and estates team of the business law group. She assists individuals and businesses with their succession planning and estate planning, focusing on both tax considerations and family dynamics.
Previously she was at Moody’s Tax Law in Edmonton. She obtained her L.L.B. from the University of Buckingham and her L.L.M. from the University of British Columbia. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2018 and the B.C. bar in 2021.
