Stikeman Elliott welcomes two new partners

As of the new year, Jeff Hershenfield is a partner in Stikeman Elliott's Toronto office and Stephanie Weschler is a partner in its Montreal office.

Hershenfield, a member of the corporate group, has a broad capital markets practice with a focus on securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance and derivatives, as well as general corporate and commercial law. He's also a member of the firm's M&A/negotiated transactions group, securities practice group and the structured financial products and derivatives group and sits on the firm's student committee.

Weschler is a member of the employment and labour group and her practice is focused on all aspects of employment law. She has extensive experience advising public and private companies on the employment and labour law aspects of purchase and sale transactions. Weschler also provides strategic advice and assists clients in drafting executive agreements and advises on all matters relating to individual labour standards, human rights, the implementation of human resources documents and workplace investigation.
