Spark LLP announced it has expanded its presence in Windsor with the addition of lawyers Carolyn Gray, Francesca Provenzano and legal assistant Marianne Thomson to its team, which it says will help it further its ties with Canada’s southernmost city.

According to the firm’s press release, Gray has practised family law for three decades.

Provenzano focuses on both family law and commercial disputes. She attended Carleton University and completed her undergraduate studies in criminology and criminal justice in 2014.

Thomson started her career doing civil litigation until 1978, when she became assistant to the late justice John Brockenshire, who, at that time, practised in family, real estate and municipal law. In 1990, she joined Mousseau DeLuca LLP working in the family law department and officially became assistant to Gray in 1993. In 2003, Thomson and Gray transitioned over to Strosberg Sasso Sutts LLP to become the firm’s family law department and remained there until Gray’s (short-lived) retirement in 2019.
