Stewart McKelvey adds associates in Moncton, Halifax

Stewart McKelvey announced that associate Jordan Dickinson has joined its office in Moncton, N.B., while associate Joseph Ur has joined the Halifax office.

According to the firm’s news release, Dickinson has experience working on a variety of financing and mergers and acquisitions matters in the corporate space and will assist clients in such areas as banking and financing, commercial transactions/agreements and corporate formation/reorganizations.

Dickinson has a bachelor of science in business administration from Liberty University (2016) and a juris doctor from the University of British Columbia (2019). 

Originally from Halifax, Ur joins the firm after practising at a national firm in Toronto since 2018. Ur’s practice focuses on general corporate and commercial disputes, professional liability, medical malpractice defence, intellectual property and tech litigation, as well as real estate disputes.

Ur graduated from Dalhousie University with a bachelor of commerce in 2014. He earned his J.D. in 2017 at Queen’s University.
