New Brunswick appeal court clears man accused of sexual interference with child

The Court of Appeal of New Brunswick entered a verdict of acquittal in a case where a man was found guilty of sexual interference against a child.

The provincial court had found the man, only identified at D.A.M. in court documents, guilty of sexual interference against a 12-year-old girl as described in s. 151(a) of the Criminal Code. D.A.M. is the girl’s step-grandfather.
