Torys announced that the chair of its pensions and employment practice, Mitch Frazer, has received Ryerson University’s G. Raymond Chang Outstanding Volunteer Award.

Frazer, along with 36 other volunteers who have dedicated countless hours to support Ryerson and its students were honoured at a recent virtual awards ceremony.

According to the firm’s press release, Frazer began volunteering at the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) and founded the National Institute on Ageing (NIA). He held a volunteer board position on the Ted Rogers Students’ Society and mentored students in TRSM’s Top 200 program. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in building awareness of Ryerson’s Faculty of Law and was instrumental in Torys becoming the inaugural scholarship supporter of the university.
