Thomson Rogers adds associate

Thomson Rogers announced that Daniel Klein has joined the firm as an associate.

According to the firm’s news release, Klein will be working with David MacDonald and Matthew Sutton in the personal injury advocacy group.

Klein received his juris doctor from the University of Toronto after beginning his law degree at the University of Ottawa. He previously graduated summa cum laude from York University’s BA program, with a major in economics. While in law school, he volunteered with Pro Bono Law Ontario at the Superior Court of Justice and was an executive member of the Peer Mentorship Program. He was also a caseworker in the Tenant Housing division of Downtown Legal Services where he represented clients at the Landlord and Tenant Board.

Klein’s practice is devoted to personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip or trip and falls, accident benefits, tavern/commercial host liability and dog bite claims. He has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, the License Appeal Tribunal and other tribunals.

Prior to joining the firm, Klein was an associate at a boutique personal injury firm from 2015, and previously summered and articled at a litigation and corporate/commercial firm.
