International business law and litigation firm Fasken Martineau announced a multi-year sponsorship with OneEleven, a Toronto based technology accelerator and innovation hub dedicated to supporting Canada’s most promising scaleups.

The sponsorship offers immediate benefits to OneEleven entrepreneurs, who now have access to a deep bench of top-ranked legal talent from a range of disciplines, offering practical advice on maximizing opportunities to scale and grow, while mitigating the risks that technology-driven entrepreneurs face.

Fasken Martineau lawyers deliver mission-critical knowledge and insight to OneEleven portfolio companies, providing counsel on matters including fundraising, intellectual property, licensing and outsourcing, governance, mergers and acquisitions, human capital, regulatory guidance and government relations and tax planning.

Fasken Martineau’s relationship with OneEleven is the latest example of the firm’s commitment to new and emerging technology companies. Additional initiatives include ViaFasken, a startup program that guides entrepreneurs through the challenges of launching a business; a leadership role with Centre4Growth, the accelerator arm of the BC Tech Association; gold sponsor of the 2016 Buffer Festival; an ongoing onsite consulting program with Montreal’s Notman House, a co-working and skill-sharing office space for early stage technology companies; and active participation in numerous industry conferences and associations.
