Bill 92: Quebec clamps down on prescription drug industry

Last December, in its latest effort to lower prescription drug costs and increase transparency throughout Quebec’s pharmaceutical industry, the National Assembly adopted Bill 92 or “an act to extend the powers of the RAMQ (Régie de l'assurance maladie), regulate commercial practices relating to prescription drugs and protect access to voluntary termination of pregnancy services.” Industry actors have begun to ascertain and adjust to these far-reaching changes.
