Addario Law Group hires new associate

Addario Law Group welcomed associate Omar Said to its criminal defence practice.
Said articled with Addario Law Group before joining the firm in 2021. While in law school he got his first experience in court while working at the Criminal Law Division of Downtown Legal Services.
According to the firm’s press release, Said is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he obtained his BA in history and political science also from the University of Toronto. During law school, he was recognized as the top oralist in the 2019 Callaghan Moot, a criminal and constitutional law moot. In his third year of law school, Said coached the U of T Callaghan Moot team. He spent a summer in Sierra Leone working on justice and law reform programs with the U of T International Human Rights Program.
