Dentons Calgary partner named national lead for real estate practice group

Dentons announced that it has appointed Calgary partner Clark Kassian as national practice group lead for the firm’s real estate group in Canada.
According to the firm’s press release, Kassian, who currently co-leads the Calgary real estate group, has been with the Dentons since 2010. He acts for clients on complex commercial real estate transactions and advises on issues relating to infrastructure projects, including those in the renewable energy sector.
“Clark’s deep industry knowledge and commitment to helping our clients grow, protect, operate and finance their business in Canada make him an excellent choice as our newest national real estate practice group leader,” said Beth Wilson, Canada CEO, in the press release. “I’m delighted to see him continue to advance his leadership in this role. We thank Sonja Homenuck for her tremendous contributions during her term as practice leader and know our clients will continue to benefit from her strong guidance and support.”
