B.C. Court of Appeal case spurs harsher sentences for fentanyl dealers

After hearing the case of R. v. Smith 2017 BCCA 112 on March 10, British Columbia’s Court of Appeal has decided that stricter sentences are in order for fentanyl dealers due to the health care crisis the drug has wrought.
