Battle brews over MPP’s bill to cap contingency fees, scrap referral fees

Personal injury law firm Diamond & Diamond Personal Injury Lawyers has hired a public affairs firm to lobby against a proposed private member’s bill to cap contingency fees and scrap referral fees.

The CCS Group is lobbying for Diamond & Diamond against Ontario Liberal MPP Mike Colle’s private member’s Bill 103, the Personal Injury and Accident Victims Protection Act. The bill was given first reading in the Ontario Legislature on March 8.
