New litigation partner for McInnes Cooper

McInnes Cooper announced that Rebecca Hiltz LeBlanc has joined the firm as a partner.

According to the firm’s news release, Hiltz LeBlanc has joined the litigation group, focusing in the areas of commercial and estate litigation. 

“We are always looking at the opportunities in the marketplace and dynamically pivoting to better position ourselves to serve our clients with excellence,” Kevin Kiley, McInnes Cooper’s managing partner, said in the news release. “As a result, our team is growing and we are attracting the best talent across the board. Rebecca is a great example of this in action.”

Beyond her legal practice, Hiltz LeBlanc is actively involved with professional and community organizations, including the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, the Canadian Bar Association and the Neptune Theatre Foundation. She is also a member of the 36th Canadian Brigade Group (Nova Scotia) Band.

She was previously a partner with BOYNECLARKE LLP in Dartmouth, N.S.
