Roper Greyell welcomed associate Adam James to the Vancouver firm.

The firm’s press release said that James practises in all areas of employment and labour law with a focus on labour arbitrations, civil litigation and human rights.

James studied law at Queen’s University, where he gained experience as a volunteer with the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal and as an oralist in two moot competitions focused on workplace law. He also spent an exchange semester studying law in Barcelona.

Prior to joining Roper Greyell, James practised at a boutique firm specializing in workplace law in Ontario. He maintained a broad practice, including human rights, labour arbitrations, civil litigation and investigations. While an articling student, he completed a secondment with the Ontario Labour Relations Board and was recently seconded as a labour relations manager at an organization in the financial services sector.
