Fasken hosts seminar on IP, product design

Tuesday, April 11, 2017 @ 9:12 AM | By John Chunn

Fasken Martineau’s David Turgeon, regional co-chair of the firm’s technology and IP practice group, and Fasken patent agent Olivier Provost-Cao will conduct a seminar on intellectual property on April 26 in Montreal.

The success or failure of your product in the market often depends on its ability to set itself apart from the competition.

To do this, some manufacturers rely on the unique visual aspect of their product and invest considerable sums in its design. Thus a strategy to protect the industrial design through registration is necessary, yet this form of protection remains largely unknown and underused.

Learn more about how to protect the appearance of your products and make industrial designs a cornerstone of your IP strategy.

The training session is invitation only. For more information, contact Amélie Roberge here.
