Calgary tax lawyer joins McCarthy partnership

McCarthy Tétrault welcomed Matthew Kraemer as a partner in the firm’s national tax group.

According to the firm’s press release, based in Calgary, Kraemer advises clients on all aspects of tax law, in particular corporate tax law planning, domestic and cross-border public reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions and tax disputes. 

Kraemer also has familiarity with the industries that are important to many clients operating in Western Canada, including the energy and infrastructure sector, the oil and gas sector, the resources sector, the technology sector and the real estate sector.
