Lenczner Slaght hires counsel, associate

Patrick Wright has joined Lenczner Slaght as counsel, while Jonathan Chen is the litigation firm’s newest associate.
 
Wright arrives from a national law firm in Sydney, Australia where he acted for health professionals facing complex medical malpractice claims and disciplinary proceedings. He regularly appeared before the New South Wales Supreme Court and New South Wales District Court, Sydney.

His litigation practice focuses on public and administrative law, with a particular emphasis on professional liability and regulation.

Chen, who spent the past few years at a national firm, has broad litigation experience, including class actions, product liability, insurance, professional negligence and general commercial matters. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal as well as administrative tribunals.

Chen’s litigation work has served clients in a range of industries including automotive, insurance, banking, education and the public sector.
