Five new lawyers join Lavery team

Lavery Lawyers announced the arrival of five new associates to the Quebec firm.

Romeo Aguilar Perez joins the firm’s labour and employment law group. He advises employers from the public, parapublic and private sectors on all facets of the employment relationship and human capital management. He specializes in employment litigation, grievance arbitration cases, labour relations, labour standards, human rights, administrative investigations and health and safety in the workplace. 

Frédéric Bolduc also joins the labour and employment law group. During his studies at the University of Montreal, he acted as a mentor and became involved as a clinical student with the Itinerant Legal Clinic. He won the Bar of Montreal award for excellence in business law (2019).

Louis Lafleur joins the labour and employment group. He advises employers in all areas relating to labour and employment law. He advises clients on matters relating to both individual reports and collective labour reports for any employment-related dispute. 

Jinnie Liu is the newest member of the firm’s business law group and focuses her practice in tax law. Liu began her career in the corporate tax group of an international professional services firm. She played an important role in assisting clients in all aspects of the corporate life of companies, regardless of their size, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, financings and cross-border mandates.

Adnana Zbona joins the family and estate law group. Zbona focuses her practice on family and inheritance law, including divorce, separation, child custody, property division, child support for children and for spouses. She has already represented litigants in cases relating to filiation and the rights of access of grandparents to grandchildren.
