Former articling student returns to Calgary firm as legal research counsel

Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP (BD&P) announced that Rachel Clarke has joined the Calgary firm as legal research counsel.

According to the firm’s press release, Clarke has practised as both a barrister and solicitor. After most recently acting as in-house counsel on pharmaceutical clinical trial matters in Alberta, Clarke returns to BD&P. She previously worked as an articling student then an associate with the firm’s banking team.

Clarke has worked on matters before all levels of court in Alberta. Her experience includes corporate and contractual litigation, class actions, seeking injunctions and private corporation disputes. 

“I am looking forward to joining BD&P again, and being part of a team that values mentorship and growth, honours each member’s personal values and always delivers high quality work, dedication and precision,” said Clarke in the news release.
