Three associates join Lawson Lundell

Lawson Lundell LLP welcomed Jonathan Andrews (litigation and dispute resolution group), Alice Kim (China group and business law group), and Flora Wu (litigation and dispute resolution group) as associates in the Vancouver office. 

According to the firm’s press release, all three first joined the firm as articling students before becoming associates. 

Andrews obtained his J.D. from the University of Manitoba, where he was a dean’s list scholar and the recipient of a variety of awards and distinctions. During his studies he completed a clerkship with the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench and a visiting term at the Allard School of Law, where he earned a certificate of specialization in environmental and natural resource law.

Kim’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law and commercial real estate transactions. She has a BA from Swarthmore College (2015) and earned her juris doctor in 2020 at the University of British Columbia.

In 2020, Wu obtained her juris doctor from the University of Windsor. While at law school, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, Women and the Law, and as a peer mentor. During her final year, she worked as a research assistant and competed in the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot.
