Activists set sights on repeal of Ontario's homeless law

Nearly two decades after making a constitutional challenge to Ontario’s Safe Streets Act, Peter Rosenthal is taking another shot.

The professor emeritus of mathematics and adjunct professor of law at the University of Toronto stood up to the Mike Harris government when it brought in the controversial anti-begging legislation in 1999 following complaints from motorists about squeegee kids hitting them up for spare change.
