Affleck Greene McMurtry hires associate

Affleck Greene McMurtry LLP announced that Adam Casey has joined the firm as an associate. 

According to the firm’s press release, Casey’s litigation practice includes a range of matters involving civil and commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, administrative law, competition law and insurance defence.

He completed his articles at the international firm Baker McKenzie after graduating from the McGill University Faculty of Law. His law school achievements include working as a policy development officer for Yukon’s Department of Justice, serving as an executive editor of the McGill Law Journal and representing McGill at the Jessup International Law Moot, where his team won second place for Canadian written submissions.

Before law school, Casey received a BA in English and contemporary studies from the University of King’s College, followed by a master of arts in English literature from the University of Ottawa.
